IGNITE.
One knob sets how much of the character: 100% is the character as designed, less is a touch, up to 200% pushes it. At 0% the sound passes through.
SWEET SPOT.
MAGNETAR measures how much LOW (below 120 Hz), MID and HIGH (above 4 kHz) your song has over three seconds against the genre's target, and moves each band toward it, slowly and by at most 6 dB. The bars show the balance live.
Shape it.
PUNCH, WEIGHT, AIR and WIDTH take the character as far as your song needs. The chain shows every stage: TILT, GLUE, HEAT (Character, Tape, Tube or Clip), SPACE and LIMIT.

MASTER with the loudness target, DRUMS for punch and glue, VOCALS for presence and air, 808 / BASS mono and harmonics, BUS for any other group, all with the level kept.
Loud, without guessing.
STREAMING −14, LOUD −9 or CLUB −7 LUFS: MAGNETAR sets the gain into its look-ahead true-peak limiter so the song reaches the target, quiet parts stay quiet. A/B plays the dry mix at the same loudness.

Is MAGNETAR a mastering plugin?
It is made for the master and the mix bus: in MASTER mode it brings the genre's character, balances the bands toward the genre target and reaches a loudness target with its true-peak limiter. On groups it works in DRUMS, VOCALS, 808 / BASS or BUS mode and keeps the level.
How is it different from a preset chain?
A character sets everything at once and keeps listening: SWEET SPOT checks the low, mid and high balance of your song against the genre's target and moves each band toward it while the song plays.
Will it make my song louder?
On the master, if you choose a target: Streaming −14, Loud −9 or Club −7 LUFS. A/B always compares at the same loudness, so you can judge the character itself.
Does MAGNETAR add latency?
About 3 ms for the look-ahead limiter. It is reported to your DAW, which compensates it.
Which DAWs does MAGNETAR work in?
Any VST3 host on Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), for example FL Studio, Ableton Live, Cubase, Studio One, Reaper, Bitwig and NORTHFX Studio, the free DAW.
